The First Flashes Were Made From Potassium Chloride and Aluminum

Flashes were created by mixing powder that would create a bright line when a spark is introduced, but it is a very DANGEROUS combinations as if not mixed properly,violent explosions may occur

The First Photography Paper Was Made Out Of Asphalt

Yep, the same material used for roads and pavements form. It was however made into varnish and applied to copper or glass plates.

Asphalt or commonly known as Bitumen, was a black viscous liquid that was light-sensitive.

The Inventor Of Photography Was Better Known for Something Else...

Joseph Nicéphore Niépce was the creator of the first recorded image. He is, however, better known for his other inventions, propellers and boats.
